What this site is
The pages here describe the work Nigel Mulgrew Plumbing, Inc. does and the way we do it. They are general information about plumbing and construction, not a diagnosis of your home. No website can tell you what is behind your wall; that takes someone standing in front of it.
Estimates and proposals
- For a service call, we give a verbal estimate when the work is scheduled, based on what you describe.
- For construction work we prefer a walk-through before we bid. Proposals follow within seven business days, or ten when fixture pricing is part of the request.
- A proposal prepared without a site visit is for budgeting only. It is not a fixed price, and it is not a substitute for a bid.
- If the scope changes once we are on site, the work is re-estimated before it continues, and a re-estimate can carry a service call fee.
Prices shown on this site
Published prices, including the protection plan tiers, are current when they are published and can change. The price that binds either of us is the one written in your proposal or your plan terms.
License, permits and warranty
Nigel Mulgrew Plumbing, Inc. is licensed, bonded and insured. Our contractor license is CSLB License #746000, which you can look up with the California Contractors State License Board. Where a city requires a permit or an inspection, we pull it and coordinate it. Any warranty on our work is the one written in your proposal or in your membership terms; nothing on this site adds to it or takes it away.
Projects and photographs
The projects listed on this site describe work the firm has done. Every home is different, and nothing shown here is a promise of an identical result, a price, or a schedule on yours.
