Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Nigel Mulgrew Plumbing, Inc. collects when you use this website or send us a service request, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. Using the site means you accept what is described here.
What we collect
What you send us. A service request asks for your name and a phone number, an email address if you choose to give one, the property address or neighborhood, and a description of the work. You can attach photographs and videos of the problem, which is usually faster than describing it.
What your browser sends. Like any website, this one records technical information: an IP address, the browser and operating system you use, the pages you open, and the site or search that sent you here. It tells us nothing about you personally.
Photographs and videos you upload
Files you upload are stored privately. They are not published at a public web address, they are not used in our marketing, and they are seen by the people preparing and doing your work. Ask us to delete them and we will.
Text messages
Our forms carry a consent box. If you check it, you agree to receive text messages from Nigel Mulgrew Plumbing at the number provided, including those related to your inquiry, follow-ups, and review requests, via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency may vary. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for assistance.
We do not sell your number, and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages get read, how people arrive, and roughly where in the world they are. It reports totals and patterns, not names. It works through cookies, which the cookie policy describes, and you can refuse them in your browser or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
What we use it for
- Answering you, and scheduling the work.
- Preparing an estimate or a proposal.
- Doing the work and keeping a record of it.
- Improving the site and the service.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal information, and we do not provide it to outside parties for direct or indirect mass email marketing. The companies that host this site, store the files and send our email handle it on our instructions and for no other purpose.
We will disclose information where the law requires it: to cooperate with an investigation of unlawful activity, to comply with legal process, to protect the rights or property of this site, or to identify someone misusing it.
How long we keep it
Service requests and the files attached to them are kept while we are working with you, and afterwards as part of our business records, which is what lets us tell you in five years what was installed and when. Ask us to delete an upload and we will.
Security
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect what you send us, in transit and once we hold it. Only employees who need the information to do a job, such as scheduling or billing, have access to it.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are a California resident, you have those rights under state law, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new date at the foot of it.
