The founder who started the firm in 1998, a general manager who came from hospitality, and four more running construction, projects, estimating and the office.
The roster
Nigel came to the San Francisco Bay Area from Northern Ireland in 1993. In 1998 he founded Nigel Mulgrew Plumbing, Inc., which has since grown to a team of twenty plumbers serving the greater Bay Area.
He holds the same standard from the first consultation to the final inspection, and puts as much into supporting the crew as into the work itself. Away from the shop he plays golf and darts, hikes, and spends his time with his three children.
Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Andrew joined Nigel Mulgrew Plumbing as General Manager in 2016. Before that he spent his career in hospitality, with the Four Seasons and Hyatt brands.
His management focuses on efficiency, the client’s experience, and the engagement and growth of the people doing the work.
Colly began with an apprenticeship at a technical college, and moved into a lead plumber role after finishing the four-year course. He has been a qualified plumber for nine years.
As the company has grown he has taken on estimating alongside the construction and install work, and he treats every part of it as something to get better at.
